Ximo Puig highlights Labora’s commitment to offering a ‘personalized and equal conditions’ access to employment service throughout the Valencian Community

The president of the Generalitat has visited one of the buses of the new Labora itinerant service.

He highlights that the new service constitutes a “paradigm shift” in the care model that will reach the municipalities with less population.

Valencia. The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig has highlighted Labora’s commitment to offering a personalized service and under equal conditions to facilitate access to employment throughout the Valencian Community, through its new itinerant offices.

This was stated during his visit to one of the two buses that make up the new Espai LABORA Móviles service, in which the Vice President and Minister for Equality and Inclusive Policies, Mónica Oltra, and the Minister for Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors also participated. , Commerce and Work, Rafa Climent.

As explained by the president, it is a “paradigm shift” of the public employment service, which will reach any part of the territory in order to “serve as an intermediary between companies and workers so that the unemployed have the opportunity to to work”.

Likewise, Ximo Puig has described the new mobile points of “dynamic service” that will reach where there is no Labora office to “personalize care”, which has put in value compared to the old system of which he has ensured that it was “excessively bureaucratized”.

The mobile points will travel through 212 municipalities and 11 university campuses, adhering to the agreement signed between Labora and the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, to inform and advise unemployed people. In this way, they will guarantee equal access to unemployed people in municipalities with less population, breaking territorial and technological barriers.

Specifically, they will begin their journey on January 7 and end on August 20. During this period, one of the buses will go through the towns in the north of the province of Valencia and the province of Castellón and the other, the municipalities in the south of the province of Valencia and the province of Alicante.

The hours of operation of these spaces will be from 10 to 18 hours uninterrupted and from Monday to Saturday. Through group and individual sessions, information will be offered and activities will be carried out, in addition to explaining the use of the LABORA computer application, the app and the possibilities that these tools offer, with special emphasis on the Guidance service

The Espais Labora will send an SMS to the people registered in their centers and who are residents in those towns that they are going to visit, informing them of their arrival so that they can come to know about this initiative.
